COMPANY PROFILE
NOTRE DAME OILFIELDS MARITIME SERVICES, INC. (formerly JEU INTERNATIONAL SHIPMANAGEMENT, INC.) is a corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We are a licensed manning agency engaged in the business of labor recruitment and provision of shipboard personnel in a timely manner. We are also a manning agency accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment through the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration. Our main objective is to provide crew and ship management service according to the specific requirements of the clients/principals and employment opportunities to able and qualified Filipino seafarers.
Our manning agency opened for business in April 1993. We started providing crew to various supply vessels operating in the South East Asian Region. We, as a manning agency, proved our mettle early on May of the same year by managing two (2) Philippine Bareboat chartered multi-purpose cargo vessels engaged in the worldwide trade. As we penetrated difficult accounts in the shipping market, we gradually solidified our credentials by bagging the contract for the exclusive manning agency of the LPG and Chemical Tankers of KINKI TRANSPORTATION & WAREHOUSE COMPANY, LTD. of Japan which was among the biggest project at that time.
As our manning agency grew, we have always maintained a constructive partnership between and among our employees, clients and crew through open lines of communication and personalized services because our company believes that our greatest assets are our people and that efforts must be exhausted at finding the best conditions and climate for human resource development.
The management team of our company is primarily regarded as one of the best assemblage of experienced, dedicated and dynamic crewing in the country to meet the demand of our clients and in keeping with our company policy of providing personalized service.
Committed to the highest ideals of integrity and professionalism, our manning agency supports a large pool of physically fit, competent and loyal manpower/crew whom we believe are assets to any vessel because we had known them for many years. This is buttressed further by our company's program of continuing education through regular lectures, seminars and symposia and our strict compliance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978, as amended in 1995. These are requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to upgrade the qualifications of seamen in our pool and maintain their lofty standing in the world market.
