It was a most pleasant surprise that the management decided to squeeze into their busy schedule the blessing of our new office expansion last June 14th, 2010.

Due to our expanding company we needed to create more space to handle the huge number of seafarer applicants that visit our agency everyday. Another addition to the office is our larger Records Room, our Conference Room, our Port Captain’s Office and our Chairperson’s Office.

A huge thank you to the cadets of NDOMSI for making our office expansion run so smoothly! You have made our job so much easier and it has been such a pleasure to work with you.

In June 5, 2010, the management and staff of Notre Dame Oilfields Maritime Services, Inc. once again escaped from the heat of the summer, and spent an overnight swimming in a private pool located in the heart of Pansol, in Calamba, Laguna. This private pool boasts of a two-story gazebo with a view of the mystical Mt. Makiling. It is a perfect venue for company outing activities or family relaxation and enjoyment.

A. Santos Paradise Resort in Barangay Nonong Castro, Lemery, Batangas was the venue of Notre Dame Oilfields Maritime Services, Inc. summer beach outing for 2010. Crewing Officer Letty de Leon’s birthday, which happens to coincide with the outing, was also celebrated with a birthday cake and candle blowing. The overnight beach excursion was held on Sunday 02 May and was attended by the owners, staff, family and friends. Everybody had fun, even if they will be a little sunburned afterwards. With a cheerful atmosphere upon going home and the reddish faces, the NDOMSI Summer Outing was a great success!

After office hours on the 23rd of December, Notre Dame Oilfields Maritime Services Inc. celebrated it’s Christmas party at it’s newly renovated office. It was a fun party spent with the owners, staff, returning crew, relatives and friends. Aside from the abundance of food and drink, there was also an exchange of gifts, parlor games, and raffle prizes were given away.

We would like to thank our dispatched crew for our principal in Europe for sponsoring our Christmas party, and also our suppliers and other returning crew for providing our raffle prizes and bringing more food for our feast.

In preparation for Notre Dame Oilfields Maritime Services, Inc. ’s thrust towards ISO 9001:2008 compliance, it’s management has undertaken a complete office makeover. Walls were taken down and were replaced with four feet high partitions. An office furniture system and storage solution was also adapted to make the working area more efficient, open, ergonomic, and organized. The applicant’s reception area was also greatly improved so prospective candidates can fill up their application forms comfortably.
